Accounting Manager

A Reputable Company located in Beirut is seeking to recruit an Accounting Manager.

Main Duties:

• Provide leadership in the development for the continuous evaluation of short and long-term strategic objectives.
• Take responsibility for the timely and accurate submission and communication of the monthly P&L and quarterly results to the management team and the board of directors when needed.
• Ensure credibility of finance group by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial trends, and forecasts.
• Monitor business performance with tracking tools and establish corrective measures or recommendations for improvements.
• Take hands-on lead position of developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive business case system.
• Direct and oversee all aspects of the finance function.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior executives so as to identify their needs and seek full range of business solutions.
• Safeguard finance data and records, ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and audit entities.
• Provide executive management with advice on the financial implications of business activities.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
• 8 years of experience in a similar role mainly in the distribution field.
• Extensive understanding of financial trends both within the company and general market patterns.
• A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
• Able to interpret legal implications of contractual agreements.
• Good understanding of taxation legislation.
• Proficient in Finance software.
• Fluent in Arabic and English, French is a plus.

Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
