National Logistics Manager - IRAQ

A reputable Automotive dealership firm located in Iraq - Baghdad is seeking to recruit a National Logistics Manager.

Main Duties:

• To lead, coach, and supervise the team to achieve a stable, reliable delivery of top-quality services to its stakeholders.
• Spearheading change initiatives or improvements of internal processes through digitalization and constant internal review of current operations.
• Ensuring round-the-clock logistics operations’ stability and continuity.
• Act as a point of escalation and crisis management.
• Supervising the new vehicles imports operations to ensure on-time arrivals, compliance to import regulations, and a cost-efficient transport chain.
• Monitoring and reviewing the stock, ordering, and pipeline stock in shipping transit.
• Create reports for all import shipments with full details in order to integrate with the auto management system.
• Regular performance review and management of logistics provider through mutually agreed on KPIs. The target is to ensure that the service provider attains a robust, efficient, quality service while remaining compliant.
• Make a strategy plan for stock distribution in Iraq province according to sales demands, quick fast-moving vehicles, and pre-plan from high management for distribution percentage settled between different provinces.
• Monitoring the hole stock details between Iraq and manufacturers.
• Follow up with transportation providers in case of incidents and accidents and claims due to delivery in Iraq.
• Support the senior management to set the rate of customs duty and supervise the application of customs compliance in Iraq and control measures and adherence to customs policies.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management or similar field.
• 5+ years of experience in same role.
• Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff.
• Proficient in standard logistics software.
