Job Description
A reputable institution in Beirut is seeking to hire a Finance Manager.
Main Duties:
- Report to the GM on a monthly basis timely, accurate and meaningful financial statement, consolidation and analysis.
- Link between purchasing, inventory, invoicing, collection and finance.
- Manage finance tram to enforce implementation of accounting processes upon activity-based costing that accelerate business growth.
- Review, update, implement and control finance and accounting policies and procedures to meet organization fast and vast growing.
- Follow up on weekly basis all working capital of the business for best risk management control.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial results, quarterly forecasts and annual budget and conduct periodic variance analysis to determine difference between projected and actual results and advise on corrective actions.
- Review of monthly financial statements prepared by accounting manager before being shared with the GM.
- Prepare cash forecasts, manage the cash flows of the company and verify all payments made by the company.
- Formulate guidelines to optimize Company's cash flows, managing investments and working capital requirements, and advise higher management on optimal utilization of financial structures within the company.
- Monitor and manage relationships with vendors, clients, financial and banking institutions. Negotiate with banks for facilities and hedging of currencies as per the financial requirements of the company.
- Maintain relations with external auditors and investigate their findings and recommendations.
- Monitor the procurement department activities operationally and financially.
Skills
- Proven experience as a Financial Manager
- Experience in the financial sector with previous possible roles such as financial analyst
- Extensive understanding of financial trends both within the company and general market patterns
- Proficient user of finance software
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Able to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used
- A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles
- Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations
- BS/MA degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
- Professional qualification such as CFA/CPA or similar is required.
